Scrapes and Scars
Look at our Grant. Isn't he adorable? We think he was definitely meant to be our third child, otherwise we'd probably panic more when he gets into mischief and gets scrapes and bruises from his rough-and-tumble fun. I'm sure you notice he is sporting a new scrape---right on his nose. I guess it was coming. He needs a good scar on his nose to match the scar by his eye from jumping on the ottoman and hitting his head on the TV stand, slicing the corner of his eye open (look closely and you can see it) and the scar on his lip from doing somersaults at Grandma's and running into a chest (you can't really see that one in the picture. . . but it's there!). He's got some good scrapes and bruises on his legs too from trying to climb up our retaining wall and crawling around in the rocks and dirt while playing outside. Poor kid. Oh well, with all the scrapes and scars, he's still a fun-loving, happy, and healthy kid. It's hard to believe he's already 18 months. Get ready Nursery, here he comes!!!

Family Night
I realized that we haven't posted pictures in a while, so I looked on the camera to see if there was anything worth blogging. All I found were a few pictures of our Family Night last week. (I guess I haven't been my "camera-happy" self lately.) The lesson was "I am a child of God" and afterward, the kids decorated crowns while Scott and I dished up the yummy treat.

HAIL NO!!!

A big storm hit last night. Here is a sample of the hail that hit our house. A tornado touched down just northwest of our house as the storm approached. We waited it out in the kids bathroom with our emergency supplies.
Here are some othere links to storm pictures from friends in the area:

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!
Saturday was Dallin's first baseball game (his Thursday game was cancelled due to a really bad storm). It was a great first game!! And they even won!! I love how nice and encouraging everyone was-- the coaches (who were pitching) would even take the time to help the batter with his stance if needed, and everyone cheered the teams on. When it was Dallin's turn to bat, he hit the ball right down the middle on the first pitch!! We were very excited about that! Look how cute he is out there in the outfield!

Girls Camp Fundraiser
We had our ward Girls Camp Fundraiser this weekend and it went REALLY well. We have the BEST young women around!! We combined our fundraiser (an Auction) with a ward activity-- a chili cookoff (which was WAY easier for me since I'm Activities Chair and Ward Girls camp director). We had a Western theme, and unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures, but it turned out pretty cute. The girls used my camera to take pictures of ward members Wednesday night and then I turned them into "wanted" posters which we nailed to an old fence as decorations. I thought it turned out nice.

Sierra
I've noticed that lately I have posted a lot of pictures of Dallin and Grant. Here are some quick facts about our little girl: She LOVES anything pink. She loves pigs, tacos, and dancing. While she's pretty girly, she doesn't let her brothers get away with anything, and has been known to say "Come on, Dallin, lets box!" (while running after him and "putting up her dukes") She loves to do crafts and make cards and write letters. She has a great imagination and SEVERAL imaginary friends. While she likes to spend alone time with mommy, she ADORES her daddy.
The next few pictures and captions are all about our sweet Sierra:

Baseball
It is Dallin's first year playing baseball and he is really excited. His team is the Red Sox. Saturday was opening day for his baseball league. There was a parade, ceremony, lots of fun with bounce houses, home run derby contest, hotdogs, etc. . . it was FUN! Here are some pictures:
I love this picture of Dallin-- His hat is too big and kept pushing his ears down, making him look like a little elf.

ENCHANTED
Dallin and Sierra have been asking to see the movie "Enchanted" for a while now. Well, we rented it this weekend. Loved it! Sierra was, well, enchanted by the "real life" princess. It was priceless to see her watch a movie depicting life as she, an innocent 3 year old who ADORES princesses, views life and love. During the Ball scene she hurriedly said, "Mom, Mom, I need you to pause it!!" I did so, as she ran out of the living room . I thought she just had to go to the bathroom and didn't want to miss anything. Moments later she came back, dressed in her fanciest dress-up clothes so she could dance too. So cute!
