Dallin has had a creative itch lately. He has especially enjoyed building things out of blocks (like in the picture), legos or lincoln logs. A few days ago as I was making dinner, Dallin invited me to come see his latest creation-- a hotel made of blocks. It was a pretty cool looking building. Dallin explained that he first built the walls for support and then tried adding different elements like pillars or arches until he got it just how he wanted it. Once again as a doting mother I commented on how well the hotel was built and how much time and creativity it took to make it just perfect. I expected him to graciously take the compliment and bask in the praise given by his biggest fan for a while, but instead he looked at me and seriously said--- "Well, mom, it is just a prototype." ummm. . . . ok. . . where did my 5 year old get that from?

Grant is our little climber! Even before he could walk very well he would climb up on the teeter totter and rock back and forth like he's surfing.

Watching General Conference was fun this year. The kids are getting older and can participate in fun activities as we watched Conference together.

While staying with Grandma Sue and Papa Mike, Grant learned to walk. He started by pushing this basket of toys around the house until he found his balance.

Well, we have FINALLY moved into our own house here in Texas and can get back to blogging cute pictures of the kids. We haven't posted any pictures since the 4th of July, so, I thought it'd be appropriate to show how much the kids have grown. Here is a picture of the kids on closing day, right after we got the keys to our house. It's only been a week, but I am already predicting many ER visits due to this fireplace.

And here's what they looked like the last time we blogged.
